Continental Steel Group is Egypt’s integrated long-product steel producer operating under a Chinese-Egyptian partnership. Operational since 2020, we focus on stable billet production today and staged technology upgrades for tomorrow.

Modernization roadmap

Our current operations are based on induction furnace steelmaking with ladle furnace (LF) metallurgy. Upgrading to electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking and installing rolling mills are under development to expand capabilities and serve wider market needs.
